Beneteau Atlantic Tour

L'Océanis 38 millésimé n°66 a été construit en juin dernier en Vendée. The Oceanis 38 vintage No. 66 was built in June in Vendee.

Entre la résine et la sortie d'usine, il aura fallu un mois aux équipes de l'usine du Poiré sur vie pour finir la coque de la nouvelle maison d'Aurélie et Jonathan. Ils ont suivi de près la construction car ils désiraient connaître tous les dessous de leur voilier. Ils ont posé une isolation supplémentaire entre la coque et l'intérieur du bateau pour emmener ce modèle "croisière" dans les eaux froides du grand Nord. Jonathan a pu voir le câblage de l'électronique et connaître son voilier dans les moindres détails. Il en a aussi profité pour réaliser un super timelaps vidéo sur toutes les étapes des différents postes. Celui-ci à beaucoup plu aux ouvriers et dirigeants de Bénéteau et a été diffusé lors de la cérémonie des 130 ans du Groupe. Cependant, il restera en interne car il dévoile trop de secrets de fabrication ! Au retour peut-être ;)

Between the resin and the launch, it took one month for the teams of the factory of Poiré sur Vie to finish the hull of Aurelie and Jonathan’s new home. They closely monitored the building as they wanted to know as much as possible the sailboat. They put some extra insulation between the shell and the interior of the boat to take this ‘crusing’ model in the cold waters of north Atlantic. Jonathan could see the wiring of electronics and know his sailboat in detail. He also took the opportunity to make a great timelaps video of every stages of different positions. It was well received by the workers and leaders of Beneteau and was broadcast during the ceremony of the 130 years of the Group. However, it will remain in-house because it reveals too much secrets! On our return, perhaps ;)
