Beneteau Atlantic Tour

Première sortie vers l'île d'Yeu. First sailing trip to Yeu.

Le week-end du 20 juillet, nos futurs aventuriers ont effectué une première vraie sortie pour tester la vie à bord. Ils ont embarqué deux couples d'amis avant que la troisième cabine ne soit condamnée pour en faire  placard géant pour les voiles. Ils ont pu faire le tour de tout ce qu'il fallait à bord pour être à l'aise. Aurélie a appréhendé les détails de la vie intérieure quand Jonathan a plutôt imaginé la navigation facile.

Jonathan : "Le bateau est surprenant sur l'eau. Il est facile à barrer et il avance bien malgré son poids "croisière". Nous avons même fait une pointe à 10.3 noeuds sous spi au retour pour 18 noeuds de vent. Les bouchains sont vraiment agréables pour naviguer légèrement gité, ça rassure Aurélie qui va quitter dans un mois une maison stable et au sec."

Aurélie : "Ca y est, j'ai hâte de partir pour de vrai, j'ai pris mes marques à bord même si il faut encore qu'on s'entraîne. Le bimini à l'extérieur dessiné par le papa de Jonathan est une pépite de navigation : à l'ombre sous le soleil, à l'abri sous les grains, il garde la chaleur quand le bateau avance. Le carré extérieur est vraiment agréable, le barbecue au mouillage c'est magique. Il nous reste un mois pour nous entraîner mais je pourrais déja partir demain. Il va falloir voir comment je réagis la nuit et lors des longs bords. Jonathan en profitera pour m'apprendre les bases de sécurité à bord et les noeuds que je ne connais pas. Ensuite nous convoierons le bateau vers Nantes à la mi-août."

Aurélie: "That's it, I'm looking forward to leaving for real, I got my bearings on board even if we still need to deeper our knowledge of the boat. The bimini outside, designed by Jonathan’s father is wonderful for navigation: in the shade under the sun, under the shelter of grain, and keeps the heat when the boat is moving. Outside the square is really nice, and it’s fantastic to have a barbecue when moored. We still have on month ahead but I could depart tomorrow. We still need to see how I react at night and during long periods. Jonathan will also take the opportunity to teach me the basics of safety on board and components that I do not know. We should then bring the boat to Nantes at mid-August. "
